NRA Basics Of Pistol Shooting

The 8 hour NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation. This is a traditional, instructor-led course where you will receive direct instruction from an NRA-certified instructor from beginning to end. This course satisfies FL state laws to apply for a FL CCW Permit.

Pre-Requisite: NONE

This course satisfies the State of Florida’s requirement for Firearm safety training to apply for your Florida Concealed Weapons (CWP) permit.

Required Documents

• Rezilyent Pre-Registration form
• Rezilyent Hold Harmless waiver
• Rezilyent Photo Release (if you have any special requirements, please annotate that information on this form)
• CFRPC guest waiver signed and dated on the day of your course

Required Items

·  A great attitude and a willingness to learn

·  Pistol: Semi-auto or revolver. If you need to rent a pistol, prior coordination is required, there is a $20 Fee

·  Magazine/s for semi-auto

·  200 rounds of factory ammunition (NO hand loads/reloads): recommended caliber: 22lr or 9mm

·  Hearing Protection

·  Eye Protection

·  Appropriate range attire (high neck shirts and closed-toed shoes) If you show up dressed inappropriately, you will be asked to leave and reschedule later.
